Our aftermarket replacement Caterpillar Weld-on Lip Shrouds/lip wear protectors are welded sacrificial wear protection designed for Caterpillar excavator and wheel loader bucket cutting edges. Installed and welded between bucket adapters, they fill the vulnerable gap zones on the bucket lip that suffer the most sliding abrasion, material scouring, and gravel friction during daily digging and loading cycles.
Unlike bolt-on mechanical shrouds, our Caterpillar weld-on lip shrouds feature a one-piece solid cast structure with enlarged welding base, delivering ultra-stable protection for high-frequency construction and mining operations. They effectively eliminate lip scalloping, grooving, edge thinning and premature wear-through between tooth positions.
