Our aftermarket Caterpillar Segment Bolts/Sprocket segment bolts are high-strength undercarriage fastener designed for drive sprockets of Caterpillar excavators and dozers. Working with matched nuts, it securely fixes sprocket segments onto the sprocket hub. When the machine travels, the sprocket continuously meshes with track links. Segment bolts endure cyclic impact loads and shear force, exposed to abrasive rock, sand and muddy water all the time. Loosening or fracture of bolts may lead to sprocket segment falling off and track jumping, resulting in serious undercarriage failure. Therefore, segment bolts require excellent tensile strength, shear resistance and fatigue performance.
